Q: What is Hokkien New Year? A: Hokkien New Year is the 9th day of Chinese New Year. It is a thanksgiving prayer to Ti Gong “天公” (in Hokkien) for protected the Hokkien ancestors from being caught. In Lunar calendar, the day starts at 11pm. The Hokkiens start their prayers at 11pm on the 8th day of Chinese New Year. The Hokkiens set up a table full of food especially thi kueh, ang koo, mee koo, huat kueh and bright pink miniature pagodas.

Q: What is your zodiac sign? A: Scorpio+Virgo. Sun, Moon and Mercury in Scorpio, Venus and Mars in Virgo. I am so Scorpio and sometimes very Virgo.

Q: Are allergies a sign of a strong immune system? A: Maybe yes. I don't get sick (flu, cold...) that often, and if I got cold for example, with a good rest, I am able to recover within a few hours. The only thing that can make me so sick is peanut, become so sick when I eat it (accidentally), migraine, nausea, vomit and others. The worst I ever experienced, Anaphylaxis.
